The primary zone of Jim Corbett National Park, Jhirna Zone, is quickly rising to prominence as one of Corbett's top tourist destinations. In this area, reptiles like crocodiles, Indian Pythons, Cobras, Gharials, and various species of lizards have been spotted.
The wildlife opportunities in the Jhirna zone are the same as those in any other zone of Corbett because the Jhirna zone's forest area is the same as the forest, with sal forest trees and wide grassland known as chaur as its predominant flora.
